Gray Matters Games’ Cross the Line Named Walmart’s July Game of the Month!
Glen Ellyn, IL – July 1, 2026 – Gray Matters Games is proud to announce that its newest party game, Cross the Line, has been selected as Walmart’s Game of the Month for July, bringing one of the summer’s most engaging new games to Walmart stores nationwide. The recognition highlights Cross the Line as a must-have for backyard barbecues, family vacations, reunions, and game nights all season long.

Created by award-winning game designers Joe Barron, Brady Peterson, and David Yakos, Cross the Line features an innovative sliding-scale gameplay mechanic that gets everyone involved from the very first question. Players tackle 200 clever topics, ranging from “How often do you cuss?” to “What did your report card look like as a kid?” creating endless combinations of surprising answers and hilarious discoveries. The game’s content was written by comedian Gray Lyon and board game influencer Danielle Standring, with graphic design by Sophia Ricciardi. Gray Matters Games partnered with Asmodee to bring the game to retailers nationwide.
