Gray Matters Launches Rhymes With Duck!

Glen Ellyn, IL – May 1st:  Gray Matters Games, creators of hit party games Slip It In and Wrong Answers Only, are proud to announce the launch of their newest title, Rhymes With Duck, a quack-tastic rhyming game. Designed for 4–8 players ages 10 and up, Rhymes With Duck challenges players to think on their webbed feet, rhyme cleverly, and avoid spelling the dreaded word “QUACK.” Players score points by matching rhyming words with others—but be careful: if you don't match, you'll earn a penalty letter and risk getting plucked from the winner’s circle!

"With its colorful design, fun wordplay, and lovable mascot Chuck the Duck, Rhymes With Duck is set to ruffle feathers in the best way possible" said Joe Barron, co-founder of Gray Matters Games. “The fun and simplicity of this game will make it a new staple at family game nights.”

Rhymes With Duck is a wonderful collaboration between Gray Matters Games and esteemed game inventors, Bob Kamp and Brady Peterson, who are known for their hit games like Blank Slate and Otrio, respectively.  The exceptional art was created together with Anchor Creative and Sophia Ricciardi & Jessica Butler from the GMG team.  The game is set to make a big splash with GMG’s marketing partnerships with Loudr and Asmodee.

The game will launch in over 2,500 stores this year, including a major US retailer, and at hundreds of independent toy & hobby game stores.  GMG’s partner, Asmodee, will distribute into mass retail and internationally in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.  The game is now available on Amazon and on the Gray Matters Games Website.  Hobby and Specialty retailers can visit our Retailer Resource page to learn about ordering through our distribution partner, Asmodee, and our sales rep groups.
